Mount Harmony Farm Guest House
Mount Harmony Farm Guest House is a charming 2-story country house in an earthy
setting, with privacy, natural beauty, and easy accessibility. This peaceful, unique Guest
House centrally is located in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, and is a wonderful place to
slow down, unwind and spend time indoors, or out in nature. The private evergreen
woods behind the Carriage House are thickly carpeted with fragrant pine needles. The
Guest House looks out over the West Pasture and vegetable gardens. In the summer
you can hear the woodland creek, the spring peepers and the frogs in the pond.
There is a Great Room upstairs and another one downstairs. All rooms have thermostats for the baseboard
heat. Upstairs are 2 Bedrooms, 1.5 Bathrooms, a Kitchenette and the Great Room with its very large picture
window facing the mountains. The breakfast nook upstairs is outside one of the bedrooms -- great for your
morning coffee; especially if you like breakfast in bed. One bedroom has a Queen-size Bed; the other
Bedroom has a King-size Sleigh Bed. In the upstairs Great Room there is a built-in Queen-size Bed off to
one side of the Picture Window (this is the bed most people vie for), as well as a built-in Captain's Bed off to
the other side of the picture window.
The downstairs Great Room has a full-size stove and oven, full-size refrigerator, and double kitchen sink,
wood kitchen island, plus a wood stove (we supply plenty of firewood for up to a week). There is a
Queen-size futon couch bed to stretch out on, watch TV/DVDs, or open it out for another couple to sleep in.
Amenities include Bed & Bath Linens, Firewood (enough for a week), Utilities (electric up to $500/mo for monthly
renters), Internet Service, Satellite TV plus 2 TVs (one is a hi-def 26" TV), DVD Player, Radio/Cassette/CD Player,
kitchenware & utensils, Microwave, Toaster, Toaster Oven, Coffee Maker, Bean Grinder, Food Processor, Hot-Air

Area Offerings: This vacation house adjoins the VAST Trail, and is near many areas with outdoor trails (skiing, hiking,
snowshoeing, horseback riding, mountain biking, Nordic & Alpine skiing, etc.), and many pristine ponds and lakes (ice
fishing, swimming, etc.). Several hiking, swimming and fishing places are within an easy 7- to 15-minute drive.
There is a beautiful Walden-like walking trail around the corner which has a fairly private pond within in a short walk.
The world-renowned Bread & Puppet Theater is only a mile away, with daily performances in the summer and musical
events on the weekends. In the warmer months there are a number of Farmer's Markets (with Crafts, Artisan Breads
& Cheeses, Fresh-Picked Produce, Plants, and often Performers) in the area (including Craftsbury Common and St.
Johnsbury). Also nearby are Craftsbury's Outdoor Center, Burke Mountain and E. Burke with their many activities,
trails, and Kingdom Trails for summer hiking, and mtn. biking with world-class events, and great eating spots.

Vacation Rental -- Daily Rates: $150/nt for 1-2 people, $175/night for 3-5 people, and $200/nt for 6-9 people (2-night
minimum). Weekly Rates: $700/week for up to 4 people, $750/wk for 5-6 people, $800/wk for 7-9 people. Monthly
Rates: $2,600/month ($800 non-refundable initial deposit for each booked month, for all monthly rentals). Please

security deposit. If we quote you a special rate on the phone, that is valid for only one week, at which time it expires

Monthly Rentals -- For a one-month or longer vacation rental there is a security deposit of $200. After the initial
(non-refundable) deposit of $800, the remaining $2,000 ($1,800, plus the $200 security deposit) for a one-month
rental, is to have been received in full no later than 60 days prior to booked arrival date. For one-month or longer
rentals, we cover electric usage up to $500/month. Monthly renters will be responsible for the electric costs beyond
$500/month. We supply an initial amount of firewood (enough for a week) for renters, and additional firewood can be
purchased independently, or through us ($185/cord). Pets must be pre-approved by us.
Refunds: All prices include VT Rental taxes. No refunds with less than 31 days notice prior to expected/booked date
of arrival. All refunds/cancellations are subject to getting a replacement booking for the dates you booked/paid for.
Refunds on bookings made at discounted Special Rate offers are only given if we get a re-booking in time for those
dates. Payment constitutes full agreement to all terms and conditions above.
